Human Touch is Program Studios’ first gallery show aiming to promote human creativity in the emerging age of AI. With the rise of AI in commercial art (a large mass of art and the entry point for artists and creatives to make a living) there is growing danger to artists ability to live and compete creatively. As large and small companies both adopt AI creation for all of its pros, it leaves the human artist to hold the burdens of the cons. The Community Canvas is both a way for visitors to be actively involved in the creative process, while also recording what they are thinking. The hope is that when the piece is complete, we can take a look at it and begin to decipher and decode what some of the people are saying.
